Originally mistaken for a legal firm, the C.P. and Shapiro show cleared up any confusion right away by explaining they had no legal knowledge whatsoever (although C.P. has gone to small claims court TWICE while Shapiro has made repeated attempts to land a spot as a bailiff on Court TV but was turned down for extreme whiteness).
“The C.P. and Shapiro Show” are two guys looking at the world and the valley with a warped sensibility. C.P. is married and Shapiro should be. C.P. is annoyed with everything and takes internet questionnaires to see if he is bipolar. Shapiro has more hair and does not practice his Judaism. He also thinks C.P. needs to lighten up.
C.P. (aka Chris Patyk) has over 10 years of experience in radio – starting his career in Tucson, AZ where he was discovered by then-D.J. Jimmy Kimmel. After producing mornings and running a radio station of his own, C.P. moved onto Phoenix and L.A. where he worked with Ryan Seacrest and Danny Bonaduce. C.P. likes to drop a lot of names. When C.P. told Kimmel was co-hosting a talk show, Kimmel was reported as saying, “That’s a terrible idea.” C.P. lives in Tempe with his long suffering wife Tracy and two dogs.
Scott Shapiro is originally from Chicago (aka The Windy City) and is a huge Cubs fan and loves sports and movies, particularly bad ones. His other interests include beer, French Onion soup, Pad Thai and Patrick Swayze. Shapiro hates Tyra Banks. He also has gone to traffic school 3 times in the last 6 years – the maximum times you are legally allowed. He is a master of the curriculum. Scott began his radio career as an intern at B96 Chicago and got his first full-time job with KMLE Country 108.

You can hear Shapiro on another (and better) show every weekday morning with Dave Pratt.
